Hi volume oil pumps require a steel intermediate shaft with a pinned steel sleeve…see # IS55E
The pistons in this kit are # H345dcp Speed Pro Flattops and they can be used as full floating. Just order 16 LR63 lock rings with your kit. Also, if you require a new set of rods, we have Scat Forged I Beam Bushed rods as part # 35700 and Scat Forged I Beam Pressed Pin rods # 35700P
Break In: You must use a high quality break in additive for flat tappet cams, Also, it is recomended that light pressure break-in springs be used for initial start-up/break in. Please use proper break in procedures to prevent lobe/lifter damage. Click Here for cam manufacturers break in recomendations.
