BRM Cylinder Washing Brush 4 1/2 ” Diameter,  Made with 6-12 Nylon for efficient cleaning of cylinder walls after honing. Use with detergent and warm/hot water as recommended by all engine manufactures, etc

After honing, the cylinders need to be cleaned to remove residual abrasive and metallic debris that’s left in the bores. Washing and brushing with hot or warm soapy water will remove most of the unwanted material and dirt.

Brushing after honing not only helps clean the bores it will help to seat the rings true by keeping unwanted metallic debris from damaging the rings
